Power yoga is not entirely introduced among us; therefore many of us are not familiar with power yoga. Power yoga is formerly introduced by Indians, however, its original name is Ashtanga Yoga but the western version of Ashtanga yoga is power yoga. The name power yoga in the western version was christened by Beryl Bender Birch, who was a teacher of Ashtanga Yoga as well as an author of Power Yoga at the same moment.
The renowned Sanskrit Scholar Sri K.Pattabhi Jois was the person who introduced Ashtanga Yoga among westerns. Power Yoga is described as the exercising yoga poses which is done continuously in series of exercises without taking any rest. Vinasaya accompanied this practice, which is also well-known as riding the breath.
